RNs are highly trained healthcare professionals with a broad knowledge base, who are involved in various aspects of patient care, including providing assessments, administering treatments, and managing patient care plans. They can offer valuable insights into various medical conditions, treatments, and procedures, and can provide comprehensive consultations for medical-legal cases.
In contrast to doctors who often specialize in a particular field, RNs are trained to work with all disciplines within a healthcare facility, which allows them to have a broader perspective and understanding of the patient's care. They collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all disciplines are focused on the same goal or outcome.
RNs can be a valuable resource for attorneys working on medical-legal cases, providing expert testimony and consultation to help build a successful case.
After 8 years as a bedside nurse, it was time for a new direction. With the knowledge gained from working in various trauma centers, critical care wards, and neurospecialty units, I have attained a unique set of skills to help people outside of the hospital. Now I focus on helping those who did not receive the care they deserve or ensure those who gave the care were up to code.
Beginning with an initial consultation/interview, a plan will be created regarding each attorney's needs. A checklist will follow in an email outlining what was discussed, specifically what is required of us, as well as the timeline in which it needs to be completed. After the product is turned in, a follow up will occur to ensure the job was to the client's satisfaction. We believe in accuracy and efficacy with every encounter.
Registered nurses are not only knowledgable, they are a better rate than doctors. When you hire a registered nurse, you are getting a comprehensive consultation as opposed to a specialty. Nurses must work with all disciplines within a facility more closely than physicians, and they must ensure that all disciplines are focused on the same goal or outcome. This is why RNs are the pinnacle for any attorney.
